Technical Requirement Lists for Telecommunications Products
The Technical Requirements and Procedures lists for the applicable tests to the telecommunication products included in categories I, II and III must be considered as a reference and will be subjected to updates, as always as necessary. We recommend you to verify the date of the last update for that document in the Anatel website.
Category I – Last Update: Dec/24/2009
Terminal equipments targeted to the public use in general for the access to the telecommunications services of general interest
Category II – Last Update: Apr/29/2009
Equipments that are not included in the Category I definition, but which make use of the signal transmition radio electrical espectrum, including anthens and those characterized as restrict radiation radio communication equipments, within specific rules.
Category III – Last Update: Dec/21/2009
Any of the products or equipments not included in the definitions of Categories I and II, which the regulations must be necessary: a) to the inter operation warranty of the support network for telecommunications services; b) to the confiability of the network support to for the telecommunications services; or c) to the electro magnetic and electrical safety compatibility.
